Our legal basis for using your personal information

·         Because it is in AMB’ s legitimate interest  to use your personal information to operate and improve our business as an executive   

          talent provider.

·         To protect your ( or another  persons ) vital interests.

·         Because you have consented to AMB using your information for a particular purpose.

If processing your data is subject to any other laws then the basis of processing your data may be different to that set out above and may in those circumstances be based on your consent in all cases.

What types of personal information do we collect from you?

We endeavor to collect and use your personal information only with your knowledge and consent. We collect information when you consent to be considered/introduced for a specific assignment we have received from our clients. This information is necessary to allow us to comply with our legal obligations. Without it we may not be able to provide you with all the services which may be required.

We collect the following categories of personal information.

·         Name, address, e-mail address or information on school, work experience, references or any other information which we consider necessary to further your application in the process for placement.

·         Details of any past assignments for which you were considered in the past.

What do we use your personal information for?

Your information will be used exclusively for the assignment you are applying for., and will be made available solely to our client. Any other use will only be made after your specific consent has been obtained in writing.

AMB may in certain rare cases, be obliged to disclose your personal information to meet any legal or regulatory requirements or obligations in accordance with applicable law. This will only be done after communication with you and your consent obtained in writing.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a simple text that is stored on your computer or mobile device by a website’s server and only that server will be able to retrieve or read the contents of that cookie. It will contain some anonymous information and it allows a website to remember some of your data.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies to allow our system to identify your device and to offer you various functions, such as facilitate browsing this site and to ensure its correct use, to facilitate the access to services that require authentication, as well as to find out which areas of a site have been visited. The cookies used on this site are permanent (they remain/are stored on the hard drive of the personal computer of the user/visitor until they expire ) and session cookies ( that will not be permanently stored on the user’s/visitor’s computer and will be deleted  when the browser is closed ).

Your rights regarding your personal information

Right to Access and Transfer Data:  you have the right to request a copy of your personal information that we hold about you or have it transferred to a third party. We will ask you to supply appropriate evidence to verify your identity before responding to your request. Once your identity has been verified we will respond as quickly as possible and in any event within 30 business days.

Right to Update and Amend: If any of the personal information we hold on you is inaccurate you have the right to have that information corrected or completed where it is incomplete.

Right to Complain: If you feel at any point that we have mishandled your data or infringed upon your rights set out under data protection laws you can let us know by getting in touch with any member of our Team or lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for data protection in the country of your residence or the place of the alleged infringement.  You can find a list of the Data Protection Authorities within the EU here:

Right to be Forgotten:  You can request to have your personal information erased when it is no longer required or we are not legally required to retain the information. Where your personal information is no longer required , any request to have the information erased will be carried out without undue delay.

Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw or restrict you consent to the marketing or processing your personal information completely or partially, where it is no longer required.

How to Access, Amend or Transfer your Information

Your Personal Information and Countries outside the EU

All our customer data is stored on servers held within the EU. To perform our contact with you we may need to send some of your personal details to our clients outside the EU. Where this is necessary we take steps to restrict the data transferred to only the data that is required to perform the contract. We protect your privacy and your rights through the use of the European Commission’s standard data protection clauses.

 

Retaining and Anonymizing personal data

AMB policy is to retain personal data for up to six months after the completion of the application process.

After these six months you’re your account will be deleted with all personal data and your application documents. Where you have applied for different positions , the deadline for the most recent application process  applies.

For certain dedicated functions AMB maintains a talent  Data Base as it is likely that further assignments with similar requirements will  come up in the next five years.  If you are interested to stay in touch with us long term we will ask for your permission in writing to keep your data foe the next five years.

 

Information Security

AMB recognizes that its customers are concerned about how companies protect personal information from misuse and abuse and about privacy in general. AMB is constantly reviewing and enhancing its technical and managerial procedures and rules to protect your personal data from unauthorized  access,  accidental loss and/or destruction.

 

Changes in this Policy

We may occasionally make changes to these pages and our Privacy Policy to reflect changes in how we are processing your data. If there are any significant changes, we make these clear through our web site or through other means of contact such as e mail.

AMB reserves the right to amend or modify this Private Policy Statement at any time and in response to changes in applicable data protection and privacy legislation
